We all have a make-or-break point in any conversation, situation, or negotiation that, if understood and utilized properly, can move the situation in a different direction. We can call that a turning point as well.
I was recently having a conversation with my friend and we had a slight disagreement. That disagreement went on to become a spat and before we did realize it, we were on the verge of breaking up. If either he or I had understood the point where it all started and had apologized to each other or turned away the conversation in a different direction, we would have saved ourselves from that uncomfortable situation.
This understanding comes from awareness, or in today’s terms, Mindfulness.
Be aware of this point and it will help you a lot from many uncomfortable situations in life.
